Indian Air Force AFCAT II Recruitment 2021 for 334 Post Flying, Ground Duty Application forms Apply online before 30th June 2021

The Indian Air Force has recently given out a notification regarding the Indian Air Force Recruitment 2021 (AFCAT II Recruitment 2021). The Indian Air Force is inviting applicants for the various posts. The applicants can apply for Flying or Ground Duty (Technical/Non Technical) Branch. The applications should be submitted online.

AFCAT II Vacancy 2021 Age Limit

The required age for the applicants interested in the Flying Branch is from 20 to 24 years. And the age limit for the ground duty branch (technical/non technical) is from 20 to 26 years.

AFCAT II Eligibility Educational Criteria 2021

The educational qualifications for the candidates interested in Flying Branch is mentioned below.

  • The applicant should have at least scored 60% marks in maths and physics each at 10+2 level.
  • The applicants should have completed a 3 year course (Graduation) in any discipline from any recognized Institute with minimum 60% score or equivalent.

OR

  • The applicant should have had a BE/B.Tech course of 4 years from a recognized Institute with at least 60% minimum score or equivalent.
  • The aspirant should have cleared Section A and B exam of Aeronautical Society of India or Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) from a recognized University with at least 60% of minimum marks or equivalent.

AFCAT II  educational qualifications required for the ground duty

  1. (Technical) Aeronautical Engineering (electronics)/(mechanical) post is mentioned
  • The candidates should have passed with a minimum 50% in Physics and Math’s in 10+2 level.
  • The applicant should have a minimum 4 years Degree Graduation or integrated post graduation qualification in Engineering or Technology from a recognized Institute.

OR

  • The aspirant should have cleared section A and B exams of Associate Membership of Institute of Engineers (India).
  1. Non Technical
  • For Administration
  • The applicant should have passed 10+2 and should possess a Graduation Degree in any discipline from any recognized Institute with a minimum of 60% score or equivalent.
  • OR
  • The applicant should have cleared section A and B exams of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised Institute with at least 60% score or equivalent.
  • For Education
  • The applicant should have passed class level 10+2 and should have completed the post graduation with 50% minimum score in any discipline including integrated courses offering PG and should have achieved 60% marks in graduation in any discipline.

The educational qualifications required for NCC Special Entry (Flying Branch) are mentioned below.

  • The aspirant should have at least got 60% marks in Maths and Physics each at 10+2 level. He/She should have completed a 3 year graduation course in any discipline with a minimum score of 60% marks or equivalent from a recognized Institute.

OR

  • He/She should have completed a 4 year course of BE/B.Tech with a minimum score of 60% marks or equivalent from a recognized Institute.

OR

  • The applicants should have cleared Section A and B exams of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India with a minimum score of 60% marks or equivalent from a recognized Institute.
  • The applicants who are in the final year are also considered to be eligible to apply.
  • The NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ Certificate would be 2 years before the advertisement and the validity of the certificate also.

The educational qualifications required for Meteorology are mentioned below.

  • The applicants should have a postgraduate degree in any stream with a minimum 50% marks.

AFCAT Recruitment 2021 Examination Fees

The candidates will have to pay an examination fee. The amount to be paid by the candidates applying for AFCAT is Rs. 250. The exam fees are non refundable. The candidates who are applying for NCC Special Entry and Meteorology will have to not pay any examination fees

Physical Fitness Test

  • The candidates should be able to run 1 mile or 1.6 Kms in 10 minutes. They should be able to do 10 pushups and 3 chinups.
  • During the training, the candidates will have to go under certain physical tests which may include running, swimming, rope climbing and other forms of physical training.

Selection Procedure for AFCAT II 2021

The candidates will have to give an AFCAT written examination.
