The RPF aka Railways Protection Force has released a RPF SI Syllabus notification for the year 2021. The eligible candidates would have already applied for the post before the due date. They might be waiting with anticipation for the RPF Recruitment exam, syllabus and admit card details. RPF SI Syllabus 2021 

The RPF has recently released a RPF SI Recruitment notification, inviting interested candidates for the concerned post. The candidates can apply for the post until the due date, but we advise the candidates to apply as early as possible so that there is no online application confusion in the foreseeable future. RPF Sub Inspector Exam Details

The candidates who have applied for the RPF SI Recruitment will have to attempt an exam. The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the exam which will be conducted by the RPF. This exam is a part of the selection procedure or the selection process. The applicants will have to give a written exam and a Physical Standard Test (PST).

RPF SI Exam Syllabus

The written exam will consist of the following subjects. The detailed information for all the subjects is mentioned here.

• General Awareness – This section focuses on the knowledge that the candidate has about the environment surrounding him. Some questions concerning current affairs will be asked from this section. This subject also includes questions with respect to Indian History, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, General Polity, Indian Constitution, Sports, General, etc. The candidates should prepare accordingly for this subject.
• Arithmetic – This subject includes the questions with reference to number systems, whole numbers, decimal and fractions and the relationship between numbers, fundamental arithmetical operations, percentages, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, use of table and graphs, mensuration, time, and distances, ratio and proportion etc. This subject focuses on testing the mathematical knowledge of the candidates.
• General Intelligence and Reasoning – It will contain the questions based on analogies, similarities and difference, spatial visualization, special orientation, problem-solving analysis, judgement, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning etc.

RPF Exam Pattern

The candidates should know the pattern in which the paper is going to be conducted before appearing for the exam.

• The exam for the RPF SI will be computer based which clearly means that the candidates will give the exam from their computers.
• RPF Exam will consist of objective questions only.
• This exam will carry 120 marks.
• It will consist of 120 questions. Each question will carry 1 mark.
• The time duration for the test is 1 hour 30 minutes.
• For each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
• The marks are distributed among the 3 subjects as follows –
