Punjab Police Jail Warder Vacancy 2021

The Notification for Punjab Police 847 Jail Warder Recruitment 2021 has been recently released by the Police of Punjab. The post of Jail Warder for Males & the post of Matron for Females. The applicants can apply online for the post from 10^th May 2021 to 30^th May 2021. The Online Recruitment Notice for 815 Jail Warder post and for 32 Matron post is issued by the Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB).

Punjab Police Jail Warder and Matron Vacancies 2021

The Punjab police Jail warder post is only for the Males with a vacancy of 815 posts. And the Punjab police Matron post is for Females only with vacancy of 32 posts.

The category wise vacancies for the posts are as follows :

Punjab Police Jail Warder and Matron Age Limit

The age applicant should be at least 18 years and the maximum age of the applicant should be 27 years. Otherwise the candidate will not be accepted.

Punjab Police Jail Warder and Matron Education Qualification

The Academic Qualifications required for the post of Jail Warder and Matron are as follows :

• The applicant should have completed 12^th or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board with Punjabi upto Matriculation as compulsory or elective subject or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi Language.

Jail Warder (males) :

Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

• Physical Standard Minimum Height :

1. Applicant should have 5 feet 7 inch
2. Candidate should have 5 feet 4-1/2 inch for Dogras and Gurkhas

• Chest :

1. It should be 33’ unexpanded
2. It should be 34-1/2’ expanded

• Vision : The applicant should have normal vision in both the eyes. He or She should not be color blind.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

1. For male candidates
2. 100 meters run – 15 seconds
3. Shot put (16 pounds) – 5.50 meters
4. Rope Climbing – 15 feet
5. For Ex-serviceman candidates (males)
6. 100 meters run – 17.5 seconds
7. Shot put (16 pounds) – 5 meters
8. Rope Climbing – 12 feet

Matron (females) :

Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

• Physical Standard Minimum Height :

1. 5 feet 3 inch

• Weight :

1. 50 Kgs and above

• Vision : The candidate should not be colour blind. The candidate’s vision should be normal in both the eyes.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

1. For female candidates
2. 100 meters run – 18.5 seconds
3. Shot put (12 pounds) – 4 meters
4. Rope Climbing – 12 feet
5. For Ex-servicewomen candidates (Female)
6. 100 meters run – 20 seconds
7. Shot put (12 pounds) – 3.5 meters
8. Rope Climbing – 10 feet

Punjab Police Jail Warder and Matron Application Fees

The application fees for the candidates of category are as follows :

• Ex-serviceman – Rs. 250 only
• General – Rs. 1000 only
• SC/ST/BC – Rs. 250 only

Punjab Police Jail Warder and Matron 2021 Salary

The basic salary of the candidate will be Rs. 10,300. Ant the maximum pay for this post shall be Rs. 34,800. The grade pay for the post is Rs. 3,200.
