On the date of filling the form, the age of the applicant should not exceed 45 years. According to the orders issued by the government, there will be age relaxation for the government servants up to 05 years and those in reserved category.

Goa Clerk Notification 2021 : Educational Qualification for different posts
- Accounts Clerk
Necessary Academic Education for Clerk Post:
- The applicant must have a Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) from a recognized and approved body/ an All India Council for Technical Education approved Diploma awarded by a recognized State Board of Technical Education / Equivalent Qualification from recognized Institution.
- The aspirants must possess a six month Diploma in Computer Management / Applications from a recognised Institute.
- The aspirant must have a proper knowledge of Konkani.
Preferable Academic Education:
- The candidate shall have a basic knowledge of Marathi language.
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC)
Necessary Academic Education for Lower Division Clerk Post:
- The applicant must have a Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) from a Government Approved Board or an All India Council for Technical Education approved Diploma awarded by a recognized State Board of Technical Education / Equivalent Qualification from recognized Institution.
- The aspirant must have knowledge regarding Computer Applications / Operations and his/her typing speed should at least be 30 words per minute in English language.
- The aspirant must have a proper knowledge of Konkani language.
Preferable Academic Education :
- The candidate shall have a basic knowledge of Marathi language.
- Multi Tasking staff (MTS)
Necessary Academic Education for MTS:
- The aspirants should have passed Secondary School Certificate Examination from a recognized Institute / course conducted by Industrial Training Institute or Equivalent Qualification in relevant trade from a recognized Institution.
- The aspirant must have a proper knowledge of Konkani.
Preferable Academic Education for MTS:
- The candidate shall have a basic knowledge of Marathi language.
- The applicant should have multi-tasking skills and knowledge of operating office machines.

- Accounts Clerk – Pay Matrix Level 4 of 7th CPC
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC) – Pay Matrix Level 2 of 7th CPC
- Multi Tasking staff (MTS) – Pay Matrix Level 1 of 7th CPC
