Tribal Affairs Recruitment 2021

The Ministry of tribal Affairs has given out a notification regarding Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) Recruitment 2021. The different posts for which an aspirant can apply for are Principal, Vice principal, Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) and Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT). There are a total of 3,400 vacancies available for all the posts mentioned above. The EMRS is a country wide school for all the Scheduled Tribes (ST) students.

EMRS PGT TGT Recruitment 2021 : Age Limit

Principal : The age of the applicant should not be more than 50 years.

Vice Principal : The age of the applicant should be 45 years.

PGT : The age of the applicant should be 40 years.

TGT : The age of the aspirant should not be more than 35 years.

EMRS PGT TGT Recruitment 2021 Educational Qualifications

Principal and Vice Principal

  • The applicant should possess
  1. A Master’s degree from a recognised University.
  2. A B. Ed or Equivalent degree from a recognised University.
  • The aspirant should have experience in teaching in Hindi & in English Medium.

Principal

  • The applicant should have experience in working in any of the Govt. / Semi-Govt./Govt. recognized /CBSE affiliated Sr. Secondary (10+2) schools / Inter College.
  1. Holding analogous post, or
  2. Ten years of experience of teaching in a recognized high school/ Higher secondary school / Senior Secondary School/Intermediate college.

Vice Principal

  • The applicant should have 2 years of experience of working on the post of PGT or lecturer at level 8 in Central/State Govt./Autonomous organization of Central/State Govt.
  • The applicant should have 3 years experience in fully residential school (not necessary).

PGT

  • The applicant should have had a two Years Integrated Post Graduate Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

OR

  • The aspirant should have a Master’s Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the subjects mentioned below :
  1. PGT (Eng) – English literature
  2. PGT (Hindi) – Hindi or Sanskrit with Hindi as one of the subjects at Graduate level.
  3. PGT (Maths) – Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics
  4. PGT (Phy) – Physics / Applied Physics/ Nuclear Physics.
  5. PGT (Chem) – Chemistry/ Bio. Chemistry.
  6. PGT (Bio) – Botany/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/Bio Sciences/Genetics/ Microbiology/BioTechnology/ Molecular Bio/Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level.
  7. PGT (History) – History
  8. PGT (Geo) – Geography
  9. PGT (Commerce) – Master’s Degree in Commerce. However, holder of Degrees of M. Com in Applied/Business Economics shall not be eligible.
  10. PGT (Economics) – Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics.
  11. PGT Information Technology – B. Tech (computer science / IT) / Master’s Degree in Computer Application/Computer Science/Information Technology/M. Tech (Computer application/Computer Science/Information Technology).

AND

  • The applicant should have a B. Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized University.
  • The applicant should have experience in teaching in Hindi and English medium.

TGT

  • The applicant should have a Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

OR

  • The applicant should have a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subject and in aggregate.
  1. TGT (Hindi) – Hindi as a subject in all the three years.
  2. TGT (Eng) – English as a subject in all the three years.
  3. TGT (S.ST) – Any two of the following main subjects at graduation level: History, Geography, Economics and Pol. Science of which one must be either History or Geography.
  4. TGT (Maths) – Mathematics as the main subject at graduation level with one of the following as the second subject: Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Economics, Commerce and Statistics.
  5. TGT (Science) – Bachelor Degree in Science with any two of the following subjects: Botany, Zoology and Chemistry.

AND

  • The aspirant should have a B. Ed. or an equivalent degree from a recognized University.
  • The applicant should have passed in the State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper – II, conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
  • The aspirant should be experienced in teaching in Hindi and in English medium.

EMRS PGT TGT Recruitment 2021 : Application Fees

The candidates need to pay the application fees online. The candidates who belong to the category of ST/SC/PWD can apply without paying any application fees. The application fees for SC/ST/PWD is Rs. 0. The application fee for the post of Principal and Vice Principal is Rs. 2000 for all the other categories. The application fee for the post of PGT and TGT is Rs. 1500.

EMRS PGT TGT Recruitment 2021 : Salary

The salary for the different posts is mentioned below :

  • Principal : Rs. 78,800 – 2,09,200 (Level 12)
  • Vice Principal : Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500 (Level 10)
  • PGT : Rs. 47,600 – 1,51,100 (Level 8)
  • TGT : Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400 (Level 7)

The candidates will be selected on the basis of CBT and Interview.

EMRS PGT TGT Recruitment 2021 : Submission Date

The application should be submitted online. The application form can be submitted on any day from 1st April 2021 to 31st May 2021. The last date to submit the application fees is 1st June 2021.
