Age Limit for ITBP Medical Officer 2022

Age limit is a very important selection criteria for ITBP Medical Officer Recruitment. The age limit for the various posts is mentioned below.

1. Super Specialist Medical Officers 

• Minimum age limit – 18 years
• Maximum age limit – 50 years

1. Specialist Medical Officers

• Minimum age limit – 18 years
• Maximum age limit – 40 years

1. Medical Officers

• Minimum age limit – 18 years
• Maximum age limit – 30 years

1. Dental Surgeon

• Minimum age limit – 18 years
• Maximum age limit – 35 years

Medical Officer 2022 Educational Qualifications

1. For Super Specialist Medical Officers :-

• Should have a Graduate Degree in Medicine or M.B.B.S. or equivalent from any recognized board..
• Should be enrolled in a State Medical Register.
• Should have completed a rotation internship.
• Should have a Post Graduate Degree or equivalent.
• Should have Doctorate of Medicine or Magister Chirurgia (M.Ch.) or equivalent with minimum 3 years experience.

1. For Specialist Medical Officers :-

• Should possess a Medical Qualification of allopathic system of medicines.
• Should have completed a rotation internship.
• Should have a Post Graduate Degree or equivalent with minimum one and a half year experience in the concerned field.

1. For Medical Officers :-

• Should possess a Medical Qualification of allopathic system of medicines of third schedule.
• Should have permanently registered themselves with MCI /NMC /State Medical Council.
• Should have completed a compulsory rotating internship.

1. For Dental Surgeons :-

• Should have a Bachelor of Dental Surgeon Degree from any recognized board.
• Should have registered themselves with a Dental Council of India.
• Should have scored a minimum of 60% marks in the BDS exam.
• Should have cleared all BDS exams in one attempt only.
• Should have a Post Degree work experience as well.

Salary Details for Medical Officer Recruitment

The salary for the various ITBP Medical Officers posts is mentioned as follows –

• Super Specialist Medical Officers – Level 12, Rs. 78,800 to Rs. 2,09,200. Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
• Specialist Medical Officers – Level 11, Rs. 67,700 to Rs. 2,08,700. Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
• Medical Officers – Level 10, Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500. Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
• Dental Surgeon – Level 10, Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500. Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.

ITBP 2022 Application Fees

The candidates will have to pay an application fee for the ITBP Recruitment 2022. The application fee to be paid by an individual is –
