UP Police ASI Qualifications Required

The applicant should have qualified the following educational criteria’s.

Required qualifications for UP Sub Inspector (Confidential) are

• The applicant should possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Board.
• The typing speed should be 25 words per minute for Hindi language and 30 words per minute for English
• The applicant should have passed an ‘O’ level certificate in DOEACC/NIELIT.
• The typing speed of the candidate should be 8 words per minute in Stenography for Hindi language.

The qualifications required for UP Assistant Sub Inspector (Clerk) are

• The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized Institute.
• The candidate should have English typing speed of 30 words per minute and Hindi typing speed of 25 words per minute.
• The candidate should possess an ‘O’ level certificate in DOEACC/NIELIT.

The educational qualifications required for the post of UP Assistant Sub Inspector (Accounts) are

• The applicant should possess a Graduation Degree in accounts or commerce.
• The typing speed of the candidate should be 15 words per minute and must possess an ‘O’ level certificate in DOEACC/NIELIT.

UP Police ASI Age Limit

According to the Notification, the age range for all the posts is same. The age of the applicant should be between 21 to 28 years only. The government has provided age relaxation to candidates.

The aspirants will be selected on the basis of the following tests.

• Online Written Exam
• Document Verification & Physical Standard Test (PST)
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
