Qualifications required for Kolkata Police SI 2021
- Age limit for Kolkata SI Vacancy
The minimum age of the candidate should be 20 years and the candidate should not be more than 27 years old. The government has provided category wise age relaxation. The candidates can read the age relaxation below :

Kolkata SI Educational Qualification

Kolkata SI Selection Procedure 2021
The candidates will be selected on the basis of the various tests which will be conducted by the government of West Bengal.
- Preliminary Examination
This exam will carry 200 marks in total. The 200 marks will be divided in the various portions. General Studies will carry 100 marks and have a total of 50 questions. And Logical and Analytical reasoning will consist of 50 marks and 25 questions. And Arithmetic contains 50 marks with 25 questions. The time duration for this exam is 90 minutes.

SI Kolkata Physical Efficiency Test

- Final Combined Competitive Examination
This exam is of 200 marks. This exam will consist of 3 tests.
- Paper 1 : This paper will consist of General Studies and Arithmetic questions for 100 marks. The time duration for this paper is 2 hours.
- Paper 2 : This paper is of 50 marks and of English. The time duration for this test is 1 hour.
- Paper 3 : Bengali / Hindi / Urdu / Nepali. It will carry 50 marks and the time duration for this paper is 1
- Personality Test
This test will carry 30 marks and the selected candidates will be eligible for this test.
