 Pulihora is a common dish in almost all South Indian homes. It is called by different names in different regions. Tamarind sourness dominates the rice and is seasoned with green chilies, the w fried peanuts, cashews and curry leaves. Pulihora finds its place as a main delicacy during all festive occasions and is also offered as the ‘divine’ prasadam in many Hindu temples.
